New Year, New Beginnings!
So teabies it's now 2013, hope you all started the new year with a lovely cup of caffeine free tea...and if you didn't then this would be the perfect opportunity to start. Ditch that diet as studies have shown that they simply don't work! Up to 50% of women are on a diet on any given time and even more worryingly that the average age girls began dieting in 1990 was at the scarily tender age of 8 compared to 14 in 1970 (University of Colorado). Of course this trend significantly affects men also, according to BBC news 18% of the male population are on a diet at all times.
Yet the idea that diets are 3 week quick fixes is nonsense, yes you might be able to shift 12 pounds by eating baby food constantly for a month but really is that kind of lifestyle going to be sustainable...unless you're going to turn into an adult baby, which if you re I say each to their own..but really be sensible, rational and logical.
Ditch the diet cola, weight loss tablets, miracle diet books and start to think of the food and drink you put into your body as fuel to look and feel better. I'm not saying my teas are a miracle diet program where 'you will lose 5 pounds a week until you reach that goal weight'. What I am saying is that if you drink sugar free, healthy, herbal, caffeine free teas you're doing your little bit to get on the right road to a healthier lifestyle.
