Hey fellow teabies (lovers of tea and all things associated) and treaties (self explanatory),
For too long healthy eating and drinking has been far too restricted and frankly boring. Dieters and health-conscious individuals are often faced with limited choices as far as eating and drinking are concerned and I really wanted to change that.
My interest in 'healthy loose leaf tea' came from my travels, in 2011 I spent 8 months visiting 4 different continents and along the way I fell in love...with tea. Each country I visited had their own unique take on the concept of tea which was a lot different from the 'builder's tea' culture I had experienced in the UK and I thought bring a taste of my travels back home.
I also thought that there was a lack of flavourful, unique, caffeine free and low caffeine alternatives that could be available to children aswell as their health-conscious parents. Instead of fizzy drinks and sugary fruit juices there would be a calorie free tasty option for people who care bout their tummy and their teeth.
So here goes the introductions.
The stars of the caffeine free and even more importantly calorie free teas are:
Chocolate and mint Tea- herbal tea made from the South African rooibos bush, terrifically tasty with just the right amount of tingle.
Vanilla Tea-delicious, warm and fragrant also so very sweet (for all you guys with a sweet tooth).
Chamomile Dream Tea- the most delicious way to prepare for bedtime, get ready for it to lull you to sleep.
Feeling Rosy Rosehip Tea- made from the buds of roses (real ones), packed with vitamin C to get you ready for winter.
Honeybush Tea- gets it's name from the beautiful aroma of honey that radiates from this hot brew, enjoy it day or night.
Marvelous Mango Tea- fruity, tangy and juicy, just like the real deal..this is quite the pink tea treat.
Lemony Tea- the complete opposite of sour this treat tea will cheer you up..because when life gives you lemons don't make lemonade (far too fizzy) drink lemony tea.
Finally a low caffeine treat for all the dieters out there, green can aid metabolic rate and is great to flush all those naughty toxins away...so I give you:
Skinny Green Tea
